About Kiran Mendha, MD

Kiran Mendha, MD, is a board-certified Primary Care and Multi-Specialty Obesity Medicine Specialist at Center of Advanced Wellness. With three locations in San Antonio and Frisco, Texas, Dr. Mendha sees patients at the Frisco office.

Dr. Mendha received her Medical Degree from The University of Medicine and Health Sciences and completed a residency in Family Medicine at The University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center (OUHSC) in Oklahoma City. 

She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM) and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and Obesity Medicine Association (OMA).

Dr. Mendha believes in providing quality patient centered care while utilizing evidence-based medicine to promote better health and personalized preventive health services. She spends time educating patients about their health to enhance shared decision making. Her patients often say they feel comfortable and are always greeted with a warm welcome.

When Dr. Mendha is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, boating, and traveling.
